The Adopt a Park Sponsorship Program specializes in dreams.
Do you remember your first time in your community park? Your first coach? Your first team? Your first game winning shot?
Los Angeles County residents have long valued parks as a place where they can relax, walk, meditate, enjoy family time and seek spiritual renewal.
Today’s County parks are in need of economic stimulus.

What is the Adopt a Park Sponsorship Program?
The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation in conjuction with the Friends of Greater Los Angeles Parks (FOGLAP), a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, will work with your organization to sponsor a new or existing park, recreation or scholastic program, beautification or maintenance project.
Your involvement will enhance visibility and promote your organization’s commitment to meeting the needs of the residents who utilize community parks in South Los Angeles and the City of Carson.
