A 5.38-acre park is a passive recreational facility. The priorities for the development of this park were set by the community via a series of public meetings held in the spring of 1988. In attendance for the groundbreaking ceremony held on March 17, 1990, were Supervisor Antonovich and former County Parks and Recreation mascot, Ranger Raccoon. The park was dedicated later that year on November 9th. It has been a venue for a concerts, other special events and a variety of community recreational activities.
