Castaic Lake State Recreation Area is a spectacular 8,700-acre facility featuring two separate lakes. It is located 40 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and 8 miles north of Six Flags Magic Mountain on Interstate 5. The recreation complex offers a wide variety of recreational activities including: boating, jet skiing, fishing, swim beach, family and group picnicking, hiking, jogging, recreational vehicle camping, group camping, and biking.

Saturday, December 5 –Winter Magic / Lighted Boat Parade–
Festivities Start at 2:00 pm and Parade begins at 5:00 pm
Join the festivities at Castaic Lake. Bring your sled to play in the snow, Santa Claus will hand out goodies, food & snacks to buy, bring a toy to donate to Toys-For-Tots, take a stroll on the Lighted Beach Walk, and then sit back and watch the Lighted Boat Parade Show.
