Whittier Narrows Regional Park Lake

Whittier Narrows, located in the City of South El Monte features a variety of facilities, spread over 1,492 acres and is one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most popular recreation areas. The park is located on both sides of the Pomona Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue.

December 5 Youth Fishing Derby

8am – 1pm Sponsored in conjunction with Daniel Hernandez Youth Fishing Foundation and the California Department of Fish and Game

Free fishing derby for youth 17 years and under.

December 6 Quench the Fire (Run & Walk)

5am- Noon A fundraiser Walk & Run (5k-10K) a festival to follow the run
