Please join volunteers for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. “Day of Service” at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area on January 19, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m..   This event involves restoration and beautification projects [ cleaning and painting of park benches and curbs; picking up debris and planting trees].  This is a special event for all ages where everyone can participate.  Registration starts at 8:00 a.m., along with breakfast that will be served from 8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.   Free t-shirts will be given out to the first 200 volunteers to sign-in.  Please note: Rain will cancel this event.
