A splash pad is an area for water play that has no standing water. Typically there are ground nozzles that spray water upwards out of the splash pads' rain deck. The showers and ground nozzles are often controlled by a hand activated-motion sensor, to run for a limited time. Splash pads are fun especially for younger children. Parents must supervise their children at all times while using the splash pad.
