Environmental Documents

The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires an environmental review to evaluate projects for potential impacts on the environment.  Environmental documents are written to identify any potential adverse environmental effects of proposed actions, assess their significance, and propose measures to eliminate or mitigate significant impacts.  This website will provide public notices and documents related to the environmental review process.

Implementation of the proposed improvements would result in approximately 47,550 net square feet of new facilities and approximately 48,750 net new square feet of outdoor plaza areas within the Project Site, for a total of 96,300 square feet.
The proposed Trail will connect a restored portion of Las Virgenes Creek in Calabasas south of the 101 Freeway to portions of the creek north of the 101 Freeway.
The Proposed Operational Changes to The Virginia Robinson Gardens Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) is available on this website for public review and comment. To meet the current primary goals of the Virginia Robinson Gardens, the proposed project includes revisions to the operational characteristics and public accessibility of the project site. Operational changes are proposed for the following categories: Days open to the public, Hours for public use, Number of patrons in attendance, Types of Events, Special Uses, and Parking. The public comment period for the Draft SEIR is September 13, 2012 to October 12, 2012. Please see the Notice of Availability (NOA) for information on how to submit written comments.
