LOS ANGELES COUNTY LAKE LIFEGUARDS ARE HIRING!
 

Want to teach and provide water and boat safety to the public at a Los Angeles County lake, or public pool, all while earning a great salary?   Then the Los Angeles County Lake Lifeguards is for you!   Qualified candidates must have the ability to swim 100 meters in 18 minutes or less and successfully complete the PAID County-approved basic course of instruction including advanced lifesaving, first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a requirement before final appointment.  

Proof of graduation from high school or its equivalent is required by the time of appointment.   

In addition to these requirements, a California “C” Class Driver’s License is required and at least 20/30 vision in each eye.  For more information about hearing requirements, test dates and locations, please see official bulletin
