Children ages 15 and under are invited to attend a free fishing derby at Don Knabe Community Regional Park, 19700 S. Bloomfield Ave., Cerritos, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. this Saturday, June 2. There will be prizes in different categories.
The annual Cerritos Kids Fishing Derby, to be hosted by Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, is expected to be attended by more than 1,500 boys and girls. The Cerritos Rod and Gun Club will provide a free pancake breakfast starting at 7 a.m., with all the fixings to all participants and their parents.
