This traditional Mexican holiday, also known as Day of the Dead, celebrates people’s connection to loved ones who have passed away. The celebration is meant to evoke both the joy and solemnity that come with the celebration of this holiday in Mexico, where it has been designated as a national holiday.
The Department of Parks and Recreation celebrates diversity and inclusion, and we hope events like this one will bring families together and strengthen community ties.
