Please join Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis on Tuesday, Aug. 7 to celebrate “National Night Out” at Ruben Salazar Park in East Los Angeles, as part of a nationwide community-building campaign to strengthen law enforcement-community partnerships.

Lasting from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., participants will be able to meet their local peace officers for a night of crime prevention, entertainment and more. Families are welcome! Ruben Salazar Park is located at 3864 Whittier Blvd. in East Los Angeles.
“I encourage everyone to join us and engage in neighborhood camaraderie to make our communities safer, more caring places to live,” Supervisor Solis said.” This will be a great opportunity to bring families, neighbors, and the LA County Sheriff’s Department together under positive circumstances, while also enjoying a great time at the park. I hope to see you there!”
