What’s Open at LA County Parks

We’re reopening some amenities with necessary safety requirements to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Check out the list of what’s open at LA County Parks locations and review the COVID-19 guidelines before your visit.

Make a Splash

Our splash pads and swim beaches provide a fun way to cool off during the warm summer months. Splash pads are a summer favorite with colorful play areas and cool water. Swim beaches perfect place to relax and refresh along the shoreline at our scenic lakes.

Summer Camp

Explore and learn with LA County Parks at Summer Camp ’20! We’re offering a variety of camp options at 50 locations. In response to COVID-19, you’ll find smaller group sizes and limited availability. All campers and staff will be required to wear face coverings.

Family Fishing & Camping

LA County Parks invites you to enjoy camping locally at Bonelli, Whittier Narrows, Santa Fe Dam, Kenneth Hahn and Castaic Regional Parks. This affordable outdoor “stay-cation” is perfect for families looking to experience the outdoors without the long drive.

Free Summer Lunch

We know many families rely on lunch and snack programs to provide free, nutritious food for their children. LA County Parks is continuing to provide free lunch and snacks at many locations. Please note that in order to follow social distancing requirements, the lunch and snacks are distributed outdoors with adequate line spacing.

PAD In Motion

A new twist on our summer tradition of Parks After Dark. During PAD in Motion, we’ll close off streets to allow local residents to safely walk and ride with their families while supporting physical distancing needed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Drive-In Theaters

Head to the movies…outdoors! Watch your favorite movies under the stars at Castaic Lake Park every Friday and Saturday night in all summer long.
