Updated fees at the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation (LA County Parks) will go into effect on March 1, 2020.
LA County Parks is committed to expanding access to recreational programming and continues to maintain the level of service that our County residents and visitors deserve through a cost-effective strategy. The fee updates will establish consistent and quality programs to the public across LA County Parks.
LA County Parks will introduce free summer admissions programs for veterans, teachers, and students (ages 13-17) at Botanic Gardens, implement tiered pricing to expand partnerships with community-based organizations, revise facility fees, and establish an equity-based youth scholarship program, effective March 1, 2020. LA County Parks will strengthen partnerships with community organizations by offering facility use at no cost or reduced fees. As part of these updates, LA County Parks will incorporate community benefits programs and new pricing tiers for services and events.
