Join Our SPOT to connect with teens and recreation leaders.
Welcome to Our SPOT Teen Program – the ultimate hangout for teens! Here, you’ll find a place to chill, connect with friends, and level up your life skills. We’ve got mentors, peer support, and tons of cool experiences to help you become your best self. This season we will be expanding our hours and will be running Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 9:00pm. We’re also excited to launch a new Supper Program, available during program hours to keep our teens fueled and ready for all the fun.
Our trained staff is here to guide you through everything from fitness classes to leadership workshops. You’ll also get the lowdown on substance abuse prevention and find creative ways to express yourself through the arts.
But that’s not all – we also have awesome field trips, recreational games, hands-on projects, leadership workshops, and so much more! There’s always something happening at Our SPOT.
Plus, we’re backed by LA County Public Health, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Youth Development, and Probation, so you know we’ve got your back.
Please note: We observe all LA County holidays, so the program will be closed on those days.

Our SPOT 2024 Program Evaluation Report
The Importance of Our SPOT
LA County Parks and Recreation teen out-of-school-time programs are deeply valued by youth and their families. Our SPOT youth report feeling safer in their parks, connected to caring staff, happier and less stressed overall. These programs are vital to building positive youth development and helping youth reach their full potential. Situated throughout LA County parks, Our SPOTs are safe havens for teens to connect on societal issues they care about, take on social action projects, explore interests, take special interest classes, and socialize. Youth also attend events like the Girls Empowerment Conference and Teen Summit.
