20 Cities Joining a Movement to Get Kids Playing at Local Parks Again!
Starting April 1, 2021
This Spring, visit LA County Parks locations for recreation and adventure! We are offering a variety of new FREE programs for youth and families, including sports equipment rentals during afterschool hours, sports clinics for ages 6-12, and exploration programs to discover the wonder of nature and wildlife. Make LA County Parks your destination for Spring fun!
As schools re-open in April, Every Body Plays will align to support youth and families by providing free drop-in after-school recreation programming to ensure that youth have a safe place to go to after school. The aim of Every Body Plays is to get youth playing in their parks again, and amplify the power that play has in helping young people connect to each other by having access to games and activities that promote self-care.
Check out sports equipment & games for FREE!
As part of the exciting, new Every Body Plays Program, youth in LA County who live near 55 community parks and within the 20 cities are encouraged to get active and play with the ability to check out select equipment at no charge.
Every Body Plays Program gives youth access to caring staff, the chance to make new friends and simply laugh and have fun! Parks are places to ignite play to de-stress and connect with caring and engaged staff.
