This year, Parks After Dark brings more fun for all ages! Each week brings a theme, in addition to Teen Zones, Senior Social Hours, Aquatics, movies and concerts in the park. Join us for endless fun during another endless summer!

Parks After Dark Evaluation Report
The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research’s evaluation brief highlights the significant benefits of LA County’s award-winning Parks After Dark (PAD) summer program. Lear more about it here. According to the analysis, parkgoers feel safer, engage more with their families and neighbors, and experience a greater sense of community belonging. CalFresh Comes to PAD
In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, many of our CalFresh Healthy Living partners will be participating at Parks After Dark Summer events between now and August 5th! The CalFresh Healthy Living Program supports healthy, active and nourished lifestyles by teaching Californians about good nutrition and how to stretch their food dollars, while also building partnerships in communities to make the healthy choice, the easy choice. The CalFresh Healthy Living Program improves the nutritional health of low-income Californians by providing access to nutrition education, physical activity education, and leadership toward healthy community initiatives. CalFresh is offering FREE produce distribution at several LA County PAD locations.
