ESTEAM Summer Camp

ESTEAM is an 8-week summer camp from LA County Parks that blends science, creativity, and outdoor adventure for youth ages 6–12. Through hands-on projects, field trips, and teamwork, campers explore new ideas, build confidence, and discover how learning can shape their world.

About the ESTEAM Summer Camp

The LA County Parks ESTEAM Camp brings Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to life through fun, interactive, and exploratory learning. This innovative program connects children to the outdoors while encouraging them to think critically, create boldly, and explore future career pathways.

Campers participate in a wide variety of activities, from science experiments and nature exploration to robotics, coding, creative arts, and engineering projects, all designed to build curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Through weekly educational field trips to destinations such as the Natural History Museum, California Science Center, Santa Fe Dam, and the Day at the Marina program with the Department of Beaches and Harbors, participants gain hands-on exposure to science, nature, and technology in the real world.

Grounded in equity, accessibility, and community, ESTEAM is offered across multiple LA County parks, providing youth with an enriching, safe, and empowering summer experience that sparks a lifelong love of learning.

How to Join

ESTEAM Camp is available at select LA County Parks each summer. Space is limited, and registration opens early Spring through your local park or the LA County Parks ActiveNet system.
