Holiday celebration features amazing native animals, book signing and more family fun!
Eaton Canyon Nature Center Associates on Saturday, Oct. 27, will present a holiday celebration of native animals with crafts and a book signing appropriate for the whole family. The Creatures of Halloween event will take place from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Eaton Canyon Natural Area and Nature Center, 1750 N. Altadena Dr. in Pasadena.
During this program, families will meet and learn more about many amazing – but not so spooky – native animals. There will also be a children’s costume contest, a raffle, a photo booth, arts and crafts. And, most of all, Diane Lang, author of a number of children’s nature books, will be signing her delightful books.
A $5 per person donation is requested. A family discount is available, and there’s no charge for Eaton Canyon Nature Center Associate Members, or for anyone wearing an Eaton Canyon T-shirt.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Eaton Canyon Nature Center Associates, the California Native Plant Society-San Gabriel Mountains Chapter, the Pasadena Audubon Society, the Southwestern Herpetologists Society, and the Theodore Payne Foundation.
