17th Annual Park Summit
This year marked the 17th Anniversary of the annual Park Summit. Hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, this year’s gathering featured a series of informative and dynamic workshops, as well as networking opportunities that helped participants form valuable partnerships and celebrate this year’s theme “Navigating the Changing Roles of Parks.” The workshops are focused on helping attendees form a vision for the future of parks and recreation as well as give them the tools with which to implement it.
The event is being held at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden at 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91007 on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. We are so proud that Dr. Manuel Pastor is our keynote speaker for this year.
