REASONS FOR EXEMPTION: The project is consistent with Section 15301, Class 1, which provides for the repair, maintenance, or minor alteration of existing public facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, Class 1 (d) for the restoration. or rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged structures, facilities, or mechanical equipment to meet current standards of public health and safety. The proposed project is also consistent with Section 15303, Class 3, which provides for the construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures. This includes, but is not limited to, Class 3(e) for small new structures.
