Director John Wicker on June 16 joined Los Angeles County First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) and others in a dedication ceremony marking the completion of two Dodgers Dreamfields at Rimgrove Park in Valinda.

Swimming at three lake swim beaches will be permitted from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. seven days a week through Sept. 3, 2018 following action by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Lake swim beaches are available at Castaic Lake State Recreation Area in Castaic, Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, and Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area in Irwindale.
John Wicker, Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation, thanked the Board of Supervisors for its support, and encouraged residents to visit county lakes for their enjoyment.
“No matter what your age is, there’s a county lake near you to enjoy and cool off during the summer season,” he said. “Our refreshing pristine lakes are the perfect destination for the entire family to relish and spend quality time together.”
