HISPANIC HERTIAGE MONTH
September 14 – October 12

Join us at one of our parks this month to celebrate the many accomplishments of Latinos! From Mexico to Central America and from South America to the Caribbean and to the Chicanos right here in America and beyond!

TRICK OR TREAT VILLAGE
October 23 – 31

Join LA County Parks this Halloween season as we transform our parks into haunted houses of horror! Our Trick or Treat Village will feature game booths, free candy, live concerts, costume contests and dances you do until the moon turns full! You can also expect movie nights, pumpkin carvings and so much more! Plus your favorite LA County Staff will share spooky Halloween stories, run carnival games and more! Come in costume and bring the whole family along!

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
October 31 – November 1

Celebrate the lives of your loved ones and ancestors at LA County Parks!
Join us for a festive and cultural Día de los Muertos experience at five different locations across the county. Enjoy music, dance, food, crafts, and community altars that honor the tradition of this ancient Mexican holiday.

FREE – No registration required.

HARVEST FESTIVAL
November 14 – 26

Join LA County Parks for some fall fun! Our Harvest Festival returns this year with cultural celebrations including food tasting, dancing, music, crafts, children’s story corner & family games. Please call your park for more info.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Join us as we celebrate upcoming the Spring Jubilee events throughout Los Angeles County. Events will include Performances, Workshops, Egg Hunts, Edible Crafts, Community Activities, Food Tastings and more at your local LA County Park.

PARK AT SUNSET

May 7 – 9, 2025 and May 14-16, 2025 | ALL AGES WELCOME
Come fuel your soul by attending a free drop-in activity during sunset at an LA County Park near you. From meditation, yoga, dance and canvas painting, there are lots of family friendly activities to choose from.

JUNETEENTH
MONDAY – FRIDAY | 3-4PM

Juneteenth is a federal holiday the commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-American while also celebrating African-American culture. Originating in Galveston, Texas, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States since 1865.

Join LA County Parks this Juneteenth as we celebrate with our local communities and partners at select LA County Parks. Expect food tastings, entertainment, resource fairs, sports tournaments as well as concerts from a range of amazing artists! See flyers for more details.

Pride at the Park

Dates and Time Vary on Location

The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation (LA County Parks) will celebrate its third annual Pride at the Park throughout the month of June at more than 60 park locations across the county. In partnership with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit organizations, Pride at the Park will feature programming to advance LGBTQIA+ representation and equality through education, performances, and advocacy.
