Spending the day at LA County Pools is guaranteed fun, but that requires everyone visiting to be safe as well. Every member of our Aquatics team is fully committed to the safety of every single patron that visits our facilities.  Please read through our rules before your next visit to know what is and isn’t permitted at our locations. Rules are subject to the interpretation of Aquatic management.

  1. Use of pool is prohibited when a lifeguard is not on duty. Patrons use diving facilities at their own risk.
  2. Diving is not allowed in shallow areas of the pool or in areas posted as NO DIVING.
  3. Running, rough play or profanity is not permitted.
  4. Spitting is not permitted.
  5. Play equipment or foreign objects are not allowed in the pool except during organized activities.
  6. Glass is not allowed in the pool areas.
  7. Smoking or eating is not allowed on the pool deck or in the pool building.
  8. Soap showers required before entering the pool.
  9. Persons with any type of contagious disease, skin rash, open sores, or wounds are not permitted.
  10. All oil, grease, and foreign substances must be removed from your body before entering the pool, except sunscreen.
  11. Only appropriate, clean swim wear will be allowed in the pool. White T- shirts are permitted in shallow end and deck areas only with approval of pool supervisor.
  12. Patrons or spectators may not enter the pool area in street clothes.
  13. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed on the premises.
  14. The County of Los Angeles is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  15. Children under 48 inches in height or under 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) within an arms length reach away. No more than two children per adult.
