TEE DIVAS AND TEE DUDES GOLF CLUB CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY WITH GOLF TOURNAMENT & DINNER
LOS ANGELES – October 26, 2021 – The Tee Divas and Tee Dudes Golf Club (TDTD) is
celebrating 25 “un-fore-gettable” years of bringing people together to enjoy the game of golf,
as well as serving the Los Angeles community. To recognize this milestone, the TDTD Golf
Club will host a golf tournament on November 6, 2021, at the Soboba Casino Resort and Golf
Course. The tournament will close with a dinner party where members and guests can
commemorate the club’s silver anniversary.
TEE DIVAS AND TEE DUDES GOLF CLUB: The Tee Divas Golf Club was formed in
November 1996, by long-time Los Angeles resident Doris LaCour and several women friends
to provide golf training and playing opportunities to other women from diverse cultural
backgrounds. Tee Divas Golf Club has grown from a women only golf club to a co-ed club,
which includes men who share the same interest in learning to play golf. The name of the
organization was changed in 2004 to the Tee Divas and Tee Dudes Golf Club to reflect the
combined interests. As of 2020, the club has over 100 adult members, along with 30 Junior
members, who range in age from 2 to 22.
Membership in the Tee Divas and Tee Dudes Golf Club continues to be an exciting, dynamic,
and fun filled experience. We foster an environment that is the perfect blend of hospitality,
sports, and nature. Additionally, members are involved in fundraising activities for charitable
causes including the American Heart Association, along with the Sickle Cell and Lupus
Foundations. Known in the golf community as a traveling club, members have played golf
courses in countries such as Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Victoria, Canada; as well as
across the USA – from Temecula, California to Maui, Hawaii to Orlando, Florida. The Legacy
of the TDTD golf club continues with the expansion of our Scholarship and Junior Golf
Programs, which are sources of pride for our club members as we witness the growth of the next
generation of golfers.
